Falanghina comes from a rough and mountainous area which is ideal for the cultivation of different varieties. This was an inheritance from the people who, in the sixth century BC lived the Sannio, the ancient Apennine region of Italy. The Sunnis were skilled warriors and strong farmers, proud and enterprising, able to defy the hardships of the territory in order to produce a beverage of excellence, “the wine”. Today, with the same force the company works with the aim to discover, preserve, enhance and transmit the aromas and the flavours of the past. The grapes are de-stemmed and left in cold maceration for a short period. They are gently pressed and the must is clarified by cold settling. After fermentation, the wine is left on the lees in oak barrels for a few months. Brilliant straw yellow, with intense, fruity, hints of white pulp fruit and garden blossoms aroma. The taste is elegantly balanced. Pairings: Fish dishes, pasta and white meats, also suitable for aperitifs.
