Manually harvested grapes from our Farra d’Isonzo vineyard, with a yield per hectare of approximately 7500 kilograms, are used to produce this wine, which is lightly aged in oak for approximately 10–12 months.
It vaunts a deep ruby hue, tending to garnet with ageing, a grassy, delicate nose with hints of wild berries, and a full-bodied, velvety palate, with medium-mild tannin content. It goes well with grilled meats, roast red meats and, after further ageing, game.
We recommend uncorking a while before drinking, decanting and serving at a temperature of 18–20° C.
