Delicious and fresh liquor obtained through the alcoholic infusion of White Piperita Mint, cultivated near the city of Turin since 1865 and carefully selectedfrom the Poglio brothers, long time artisan liquor producers in Canelli. To obtain the essential oil used for the liquor, the whole, unchopped, green and fresh peppermint plants are distilled only in the months of July and August. They are grown along the Po river on clayey-siliceous soil which is constantly moist. It is eppery and intense, leaving the mouth with a lingering sense of freshness, followed by a slightly bitter note. Strong and pervasive, it recalls the nymph named “Minthe”, praised by Ovid for her extraordinary beauty, which caused Pluto to fall in love and led Persephone to turn the nymph into a plant. 28 alcohol content.
